Language Labs

The SoL computer labs (LAB 507, 508 and 509) are the multimedia rooms where students can practice all skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). The students can practice what they have learnt in classes as well as receiving tips for better exam preparation.

With 3 labs, 36 computers for each, the SoL Computer labs well meet the needs of lectures and students. All the computers are connected to the high-speed Internet so that students can do their work without any technical difficulties. All computers are controlled by the server and high speed switch.

The labs have the open sounding system: the speakers help students in the general practice where all students listen to the same task provided by the lecturers. Also, the computer headphones and microphones serve the purposes of individual practice and self-recording.

The SoL computer labs can be used for multiple courses including Listening 1, Listening 2, Translation 1 – English to Vietnamese, Translation 2 – Vietnamese to English, interpreting 1, Advanced Translation, Translation in Journalism, interpreting 2, Translation in Business, Comparative Linguistics, Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL), Listening AE 1….
