Course description: The course includes fundamental concepts in second language testing and assessment, and a critical analysis of testing instruments and procedures for specific purposes, with particular attention to test use in educational settings. Student will find the course content relate to assessment in second languages in various situations such as schools, adult education, and work settings. Therefore, students with the intention of becoming teachers, test designers, HR officers, or even just parents to assess their own child’s language learning progress in the future would find the course useful and practical.
