Course description: The course attempts to shed light on the vocabulary and grammar teaching issues by containing a brief overview of the principles underlying the acquisition of vocabulary and grammar in a second language, then introducing a range of approaches to teaching vocabulary and grammar; but the emphasis of the course is necessarily practice by discussing specific procedures, a wide variety of techniques, and a number of activities that teachers-to-be can employ to improve their knowledge as well as to develop their classroom skills.
